Yes coconut oil used in high percentages can be drying. I think no more than 30% should yield a nice bubbly and non drying bar. On the flip side.....a 100% coconut oil soap is the only soap that will lather in salt water like the ocean!! Which is pretty darn cool for a fisherman soap. ;)
